Frank Warren Pushing to Finalize Fury v Joshua ASAP!

3Kings Boxing has kept a close eye on this matter regarding a proposed December 3 fight between WBC heavyweight champ Tyson Fury (32-0-1, 23 KOs) and two-time unified champ Anthony Joshua (24-3, 22 KOs). Here are the latest developments.

Team Fury and Team Joshua are still deep in the negotiation process. During an interview with UK boxing outlet TalkSport, Fury’s co-promoter, Frank Warren, suggested that a deal could be imminent.

“We’re trying to get it done by today. We’re working very hard to get it over the line. If everyone agreed everything, it would be a huge undertaking, but we could do it that way.

Tyson has told me what he wants. They’ve had the contract for ten days, and he’s lost patience with it. We’re trying to make it work, and we had a good meeting today. So, we’ll see what happens.”

In response to Warren’s comments, Joshua’s promoter, Eddie Hearn, went to social media to co-sign.

To Warren’s point about Fury’s frustrations, the WBC champ released a video clip saying that the fight is a no-go. But Warren’s comments contradict that. Fury may claim that he’s moving on from AJ, but you can take that with a grain of salt.

There’s a lot of money to be made if they were to fight. In England, it would be the biggest sporting event of the year. Fury-Joshua is a battle that still carries worldwide appeal. This is a fluid situation that is far from over. Stay tuned to 3Kings Boxing for further developments.
