Dillian Whyte expected to return in the O2 Arena on April 20

Shortly after heavyweight prospect Fabio Wardley gets a first round knockout over Morgan Dessaux, his manager, fellow heavyweight Dillian Whyte dropped some news!

In a post fight interview, Whyte mentions the Anthony Joshua fight is dead and he will be returning April 20 at the O2 Arena. Three possible opponents named were Dominic Breazeale, Luis Ortiz and Alexander Povetkin.

Shortly after this statement, Eddie Hearn confirmed negotiations for a Joshua vs Whyte rematch have ceased. In addition, he stated Joshua will be making his American debut at Madison Square Garden in June!

Many fans and journalists believed the rematch would still take place despite news 3kingsboxing.com reported on information regarding Joshua vs Jarrell Miller. With Whyte’s open admission, we can now move on from a possible rematch happening.

The remaining question is, “will he sign with PBC?” Stay tuned as 3kingsboxing will continue to monitor this story for updates!
