Adonis Stevenson vs Eleider Alvarez Back On? No Badou Jack?

Negotiations between Stevenson and Jack have fallen apart

Well it looks like negotiations between Adonis Stevenson and Badou Jack have possibly fell apart. One must wonder why or what happened, but what one does not have to wonder is who would be Stevenson’s next opponent should a Jack fight not happen.

After a couple years of being a mandatory Eleider Alvarez would finally take his opportunity. The WBC was not happy with the amount of times Alvarez accepted step aside money and ordered him to fight Oleksandr Gvozdyk for his mandatory status, his team eventually pulled out the ordered purse bid.

Stevenson has been under a lot of ridicule for the fact that it had been over 1500 days since he last faced a mandatory challenger in November of 2013 against Tony Bellew.

Alvarez and Stevenson share the same promoter so one must believe perhaps if they hit a snag in negotiations and wanted to have Alvarez on stand by.

According to sources close to the situation in Canada, Jack has received a better offer for another fight.

As soon as3kingsboxing.comcan get more information on what went wrong or if it can be fixed with the Jack/Stevenson negotiations we will report it. An announcement could come as early as this week on the situation. No request for a statement from Jack’s has been answered at this time.
