The probability is high that Tyson Fury versus Deontay Wilder 3 gets postponed
Well it’s looking like former heavyweight world champion Deontay “Bronze Bomber” Wilder (42-1-1, 41 KO’s) will get stung by COVID-19 again. The heavy-handed fighter has never contracted the aliment himself but his career has been heavily affected by it nonetheless. After losing his rematch with current WBC World heavyweight champion Tyson “The Gypsy King” Fury (30-0-1, 21 KO’s) he sought an immediate rematch.
That fight was postponed several times before Fury attempted to walk away altogether. Then following a lengthy legal proceeding, Wilder was awarded his greatly coveted trilogy bout. Now that he has been supplied a date and is heavy in training, COVID has reared its ugly head again. This time however, it’s been reported that there is an outbreak of the virus in the Fury camp. Therefore, the prizefight is likely to be postponed. Ironically, Top Rank stablemate and unified lightweight champion Teofimo Lopez recently pulled out of his match citing COVID as the cause. The news about Fury was first broken by ESPN.
LIKELY STORY
To be accurate, the fight has not officially been called off or postponed just yet. Although, there is a high likelihood of this happening. Obviously Wilder would be livid with rage with the dustup being delayed. Without question, he would insist that this was only happening because Fury was up to some form of treachery.

The Alabaman power-puncher accused Fury of every form of cheating outside of identity theft in their rematch. Wilder is even on record professing his belief that Team Fury is hard at work trying to cheat for the third fight. So it would take a short leap of the imagination to envision Wilder suspecting something underhanded at play. In fact, when the aforementioned Teofimo Lopez pulled out, few believed his COVID claims. Instead the general consensus agreed that it was more due to sagging ticket sales than infection that was the problem.
Yet, regardless of how this current situation with Wilder and Fury plays out, 3kingsboxing will be there to report the news.
