Manny Pacquiao disses Yordenis Ugas!
Former WBA welterweight champion and future Hall of Famer Manny “Pac Man” Pacquiao (62-8-2, 39KOs), who was upset on August 21 by WBA ‘super’ welterweight champion Yordenis “54 Milagros” Ugas (27-4, 12KOs), has thrown a very disrespectful shot at his Cuban adversary.

MANNY TAKES SHOT AT UGAS!
Speaking with The Athletic, Pacquiao said the following:
“In my entire career, Ugas was one of the easiest opponents. He only has one style, and I should’ve been able to easily move away. You’ve seen how I moved in my fights before, I couldn’t move in this fight. My legs just stopped.”
Well, that’s rather disappointing to hear from Pacquiao, especially considering how their fight played out. Ugas, a boxer from Cuba, was able to utilize his jab, height and natural size to offset the faster Pacquiao. At age 42, it’s clear that his legs aren’t what they used to be five or ten years ago. However, an experienced fighter such as he is, one would think that he would be able to adjust in some form or fashion.
Be as it is, Yordenis Ugas put on an impressive performance, clearly winning a fight not many people thought he could. If there’s a rematch between these two, it’ll be interesting to see if Pacquiao can correct the errors of his ways and find a way topple his Cuban counterpart.
