Deontay Wilder takes a shot at Dillian Whyte

Former WBC heavyweight champion Deontay “Bronze Bomber” Wilder (42-1-1, 41KOs) has emerged after being relatively quiet the last few months.

Not much has been heard from the Alabama native since his one-sided defeat to Tyson Fury (30-0-1, 21KOs) in their February 22 rematch in Las Vegas. A prideful man, Wilder obviously had to feel embarrassment not that he lost, but in the fashion he lost.

The confident former champion was trashed by fans and fellow boxers; in particular, the guy who had been pleading for a fight with him. Former WBC interim heavyweight champion Dillian “The Body Snatcher” Whyte (27-2, 18KOs) has been on record being very critical of Wilder and his skill set. He has even accused the Bronze Bomber of ducking him.

THE CHICKENS COMES HOME TO ROOST?

Everything in life often comes full circle and karma comes back with a vengeance. In Dillian Whyte’s case, his karma was a thunderous left uppercut by Alexander Povetkin (36-2-1, 25KOs). Not only was he stopped cold by Povetkin, he also lost his interim WBC heavyweight title and right to face the winner of the upcoming Tyson Fury v Deontay Wilder rubber match.

WILDER SPEAKS..KIND OF

Short, simple and to the point.

“I believe in Glaz Za Glaz (Eye for an Eye)!!”

Is this meant to be a shot taken at Whyte? That’s up to the viewers and how they receive it.
