Marcus Brown will take on Jean Pascal the under-card of Kownacki vs Arreola!

Undefeated interim WBA and WBC silver light heavyweight Marcus Browne (23-0, 16KO) returns to take on former champion Jean Pascal (33-6-1, 20KO) on the undercard of Adam Kownacki vs Chris Arreola.

The journey for the 28-year old southpaw from Staten Island has been something that caught the attention of the entire boxing community!

In his last fight against Badou Jack in January, he showed he could be dynamic with his style; proving he has evolved as a boxer.

Browne is perhaps in the perfect position with two champions to choose from as the mandatory for WBC champion Oleksandr Gvozdyk and rated #1 challenger for WBA regular champion Dmitry Bivol.

The light heavyweight division is one of the deepest divisions, filled with talented fighters and exciting potential match-ups.

The 36 year-old Pascal is 3-3 in his last six outings and is clearly a shell of his championship level self. In 2017, he briefly retired citing he would focus on his promotional company.

However, he returned eight months later to grab a knockout win.

For Browne, this should be a “stay busy” fight as many pundits believe it’s only a matter of time before the WBC title clash with Gvozdyk takes place!
