Jarrell Miller Seeks Wilder and Anderson After Lenier Pero Victory

While serving as half of the main event, controversial and disgraced heavyweight fighter Jarrell “Big Baby” Miller (28-1-2, 22 KO’s) snagged an exhausting unanimous decision victory. Miller accomplished this by defeating Lenier “El Justiciero” Pero (13-1, 8 KO’s) to the tune of 117-111 (twice) and 115-113. With the win, Big Baby has now pieced together back-to-back wins following his majority decision and knockout losses to Andy Ruiz and Daniel Dubois, respectively.

Unsurprisingly, during his post-fight interview, Miller would go on to call out a laundry list of people he would like to face. Of those names however, the most realistic were former heavyweight champion Deontay “The Bronze Bomber” Wilder (45-4-1, 43 KO’s) and Jared “The Real Big Baby” Anderson (18-1, 15 KO’s). Ironically, both fighters have a real distaste for Miller and frequently openly express their disdain.

GRUDGES FOR GAIN?

Wilder and Miller have an assorted history that has bled from the professional to the personal realm. In this case, Big Baby has attacked Wilder’s character and manhood by relentlessly poking fun at The Bronze Bomber and his former wife. Given Miller’s notably diminished overall relevance in the division, it’s rather hard to believe that Wilder would cohabitate a prizefight with Miller at this late junction of his career.

While the nature of their feud is a bit less volatile as with Wilder, Miller has stoked up fierce animosity in The Real Big Baby, as well. Unsurprisingly, a healthy amount of their friction stems from their near identical moniker. Unlike Wilder though, Anderson seemingly has a great deal more in the gas tank due to overall youth.

Yet, similar to Wilder, The Real Big Baby has suffered a professional loss that has punctured his blue-chip boxer image. Perhaps a grudge match with Anderson would be the perfect way to show the world that he is still a force in the division.
